It is official.

Lucasfilm is finally going to release DVDs of the unedited Star Wars Trilogy. Original Ewok song, Original Max Rebo Band song, and best of all...HAN SHOOTS FIRST!

Mark Sept. 12th on your calendars fanboys (and fangirls).

Crap, after I went to the trouble to get a bootleg copy from the Laser Disc...

yep, me too. Lucas decided there was money to be made off us fanboys.

The only trouble I went through was saying "of course" to my boss when he said he was going to transfer his Laser Disc version to DVD and asked if I wanted a copy (I also got a copy of Song of the South that way too).

BUT. I'm still jazzed about being able to purchase the DVDs of the movies. The quality of the transfer is fine but the DVDs will probably be a little better.
