We had a scare.

We had a scare today. Yesterday was azxure's sell by date for the new kidlet. Well, she came down with the flu. We were hoping she would clear up without difficulty.

This morning she hit 100.5 fever, her body was hurting all over, and she couldn't keep anything down resulting in major dehydration. She statred getting pains in the area of her kidneys. This freaked us out as she had pneumonia with Dorian and went into nephritis (her kidneys weren't functioning) and we almost lost both of them.

So off we went to the hospital. After much bullshit checking in, we were escorted up to L&D. They started an IV after one false start so she could get fluids back in her. They insisted that she had to have an ultrasound, which we didn't want. We made sure that the tech wouldn't tell us the sex but she said "She is heads down" but that could also be because azxure was saying she thinks it's a girl. After she got another part of a bag of fluid and some antibiotics, they sent us on our way with a prescription of Zithromax even though it is a viral infection (meaning antibiotics won't do shit for it) and instructions to come back if she hasn't had the baby by next Monday. We were shocked as we figured they were going to try to induce her or force a C-Section on her. Luckily, the doc we got was laid back and let us go home.

My aunt said she had a dream that the baby will be born on Valentine's Day which is next Monday. I kinda hope not tho. She needs to get her strength back up and get this kid out.
