Does anyone remember a TV movie in the early 80's that started off like an emergency news broadcast about incoming ICBMs then shifted into the movie when they hit? It was very War of the Worlds like.

I thought it was the Day After, but it isn't as I am watching it now.

If you know what I am talking about, please help prove that I am not crazy (about this anyway). If you know where to find it, even better.
