Two Teeth Later...

I got a super-nasty tooth-ache a couple days ago. Well, I deal well with pain but it finally got to be too much for me to even really sleep, even with using clove oil on it, so I called the dentist who oversees the sterilization for our shop. I was gonna set up an appt for Monday (my day off) but he told me to come in today at 9AM.

Well, i went in and he did x-rays and looked in my mouth (without a shriek fo fear, I might add) and told me that I had an abccess in my jaw that was bad enough that not only did the tooth that was hurting need to come out but the one behind it needed to come out. After much injecting of Novacaine, I freaked cause I made the worst mistake to do in the dentist's chair. I opened my eyes.

Here is this gihugous hand in front of my face with a scalpel coming at me. {clamps the eyes shut tight}. I felt a lot of pressure, scraping and pushing and next thing, I know, Dr. Meskin said, "It's a boy! You have another boy" I was freaked enough that I was completely perplexed by this comment. "Wrong doctor maybe?" Nope, just a joke. I peeked at that moment and saw a bloody, bulbous shape receding from my vision. Looked like something out of an Argento movie. The blood was just sooooooo red. {clamps eyes shut}

He had to suture the wound shut since it was two teeth worth. I have to go back on the 15th to get the sutures taken out. So $290 and two teeth later, I am sitting here like a cross between Bill Cosby's dentist sketch (my bobbum libp is in by lapbpbpb) and Two-Face (my right side is stuck in a smile while the left side is none too happy) and drooling like a moron.

Oh yeah, I have an appt at noon to do a tattoo of a dragon on this guy's arm. So much for taking it easy like the doctor ordered. Oh yeah god_of_biscuts and dethblud are supposed to come visit tonight so I will be drooling like a moron for my friends....nothing new.
