The Movie Fairy arrived again
Feb. 20th, 2004 11:49 pmThe library of movies to burn grew yet again. Todays additions were:
Aenigma-Lucio Fulci
Bad Taste (I already had a copy but it was fux0rd)-Peter Jackson
Bay of Blood- Mario Bava
Cat o' Nine Tails- Dario Argento
House of Clocks-Lucio Fulci
House of Lost Souls
Mahattan Baby-Lucio Fulci
Metropolis-Fritz Lang
Murder Rock-Lucio Fulci
Sweet House of Horrors-Umberto Lenzi
Voices From the Beyond-Lucio Fulci
I also got a CD that would be appealing to anybody who likes atmospheric goth music and/or 70's/80's electronic horror scores such as Goblin (Dawn of the Dead).
The group is called Alucarda featuring Azra Medea (any relation to
ashbet's friend
azcra by any chance? LOL) doing very operatic female vocals and Docion Alucarda performing the music and male vocals. It is pretty cool. I could prolly get another copy for interested parties. Dunno how much it would be tho. Docion is my benefactor in the video collection.
tenebrouskate, you might actually know him from the conventions. I found one shot of him and his SO on a site of ScreamFest pics. I know he has been to quite a few Chiller Theatres as well as the Fangoria con.
Here is a link to a review of a couple of their older CDs. If you have seen Tim Ritter's Creep, you have heard their music.
