Then: I had just recently gotten a telnet email account under the midian.org domain and could barely navigate the web.
Now: work site, LJ, MySpace, PunkyMoms, and many other forums
3) Where did you work?
Then: I was just really getting my tattoo career going strong at Perforations in DC.
Now: I am going strong at Whole Addiction in South Florida

Then: In an apartment in College Park, MD

Then: fat and lazy
Now: fatter and just as lazy but I don't smoke anymore.

Then: I had none at that time but Kris had a pet lizard named Escher.
Now: Sasha the Yorkie, Hope the cat, a tank of koi and a tank of cihlids
8) Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/spouse/S.O.?
Then: I had just met my wife and had our first date. Other than that, nothing serious

9) Who were your friends?
Then: a metric buttload of people in DC
Now: some of the same people in DC as well as a couple people down here in FL.
10) Any kids? Any plans for kids?
Then: Didn't think I could ever deal with being a dad
Now: Found out that it isn't as bad as I had thought and now have 3 wonderful yet stressful kids
11) What was your worst struggle?
Then: making it in a new field that I thought I knew all about and actually didn't know Jack Schitt.
Now: Making it in a field that I am established in but is now flooded with new people who don't know Jack Schitt and just want to be cool cause they saw it on TV and thought they could now have a job that they didn't have to look 'normal' for.
12) What was your biggest joy?
Then: my library
Now: the Fam
13) What did you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Then: Becoming a tattoo artist after many years of struggling.
Now: Making my marriage work after making it through the roughest times and keeping it a wonderful thing now matter what.
14) What advice would you give your younger self?
Eat better, get off your ass and work harder at what you want. Oh yeah, learn your history and mechanical aspect of your work so you can grow all around
15) What would your younger self say to you?
I can't believe you settled down and got lame. Where are the clubs and the cool clothes and leather an all?
16) Looking back, is your life in 2008 what you thought it would be in 1998?
Nope, it is much better.
